What is my job as Editor-In-Chief?
I oversee all the main functions of the website by making sure that they are sufficient and ready-to-go. This is done by editing submitted articles and inserting them into the page. When that is completed, I design and format the page layout so it looks pleasing to the eye. This kind of job requires daily work, which is not an easy job. However, I enjoy doing it for you guys! I am glad to serve Durfee School as the Editor-In-Chief of this website.
Hi! I'm Amaranta Hernandez, Editor-In-Chief of The Durfee Times.
What is the difference between Editor-In-Chief and Co-Editor?
My co-editors– Alexander, Jacob, and Kim– are there to assist me or pick up my duties when I am occupied with other work. They give me their opinions on designing the pages, which is a great help. However, my job holds the responsibility of making weekly reports, like the executive positions in Student Council. Reports are important because they let the public (you) know what we accomplished during that week and what our future plans are.
