The Durfee

• This week will be a very busy one! Elections are next week, and Leadership must do the below this week:

 

• Compile the speeches and debates assembly PowerPoint

 

• Assign people to moderate the ballots

 

• Create a packet including the candidate’s pictures, slogans, and biographies

 

• We are also preparing further for the school dance coming this Thursday. The Dance Crew has been working diligently these past few days. We are going to sell some goodies at the dance, too!

 

• For this week, the work of the editors and I that concerns the elections is to place the candidate’s information on the website as soon as the packet is finished. Also, when the election results come in we shall place the percentages of the votes.

 

• There is a never-before-seen article written by Juan Pasillas now on the Sports News page, where he talks about the very first football game match between Orona’s Uprising and Sais' Heat. Be sure to check it out!

• I also placed the new basketball stats onto Sports News.

 

• One thing that I need to prepare with my co-editors is the agenda for The Durfee Times’ announcements at the upcoming Durfee Day assembly.
