The Durfee

Here's a quick brief on what Student Council is about:

All the four executives (President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer) lead the meeting using actual governmental procedures.  There are two representatives from each classroom that vote on "bills" to pass during a meeting, such as approval of a dance or a new sport. We approve these motions in New Business. The ones who head the committees are the chairs– and like the executives, they report to the council in each meeting. We also approve Deposits (money coming in) and Expenditures (money going out). In Open Forum, we discuss ideas and such items that are to be considered in the next meeting.
